Join Wildlands Conservancy for a rewarding adventure at our first and most popular preserve, South Mountain. This moderate-to-difficult 5.5-mile round-trip hike climbs 711 feet to the Mountain Top Trail overlook, where you’ll be treated to sweeping views of the Lehigh Valley.
Whether you’re looking for a challenging workout, a peaceful day in nature, or a new trail to explore, this is a chance to experience one of the region’s most beloved hiking destinations. Hike with the group for a guided experience and you’ll enjoy beautiful scenery, varied terrain, and a well-earned view at the top.

- Registration is required. Space is limited, and your spot matters! If you register and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone else.
- Parking: Street parking is available along Alpine Street and Fernwood Street, but may be limited. Please carpool if possible.
- Restroom Info: Bathrooms are avaliable at at Boroline Park.
- Please arrive promptly to check in and begin together.
