Welcome Winter Wildlife Hike
Step into the quiet beauty of winter and discover how wildlife adapts to the cold season. Join us for a guided hike through the sanctuary as we explore animal tracks in the snow/mud, signs of hibernation, and the resourceful ways birds and mammals survive the winter months. Along the way, we’ll highlight seasonal changes in the forest and share tips on spotting wildlife during the colder days ahead.

This hike is family-friendly and a great way to welcome the winter season while connecting with nature. The Hike will be about 1.5 miles over rocky, rooty, and sometimes steep terrain. Dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes, trails may be snowy, icy, or muddy.
