Experience the magic of winter with a Beginner Snowshoeing Adventure, a perfect introduction to exploring snowy landscapes while learning how nature thrives in the coldest months of the year. This program is designed for first‑time snowshoers and curious nature lovers eager to discover the hidden life of winter forests.
We’ll begin with a friendly, hands-on lesson in snowshoe basics, how to move efficiently, adjust your gear, and stay warm and comfortable outdoors. Once everyone is fitted and confident, we’ll embark on a 1–2 mile guided hike along scenic winter trails at a relaxed, beginner‑friendly pace.
Along the way, our knowledgeable environmental educators will share the fascinating ecology of winter.
You’ll leave with new outdoor skills, a deeper connection to the winter landscape, and the confidence to continue exploring on your own.
Snowshoes are provided—just bring warm layers, sturdy boots, and your sense of adventure!
Ideal for: Beginners, families, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone interested in winter ecology
Includes: Snowshoes, instruction, 1–2 mile guided educational hike
Difficulty: Easy; suitable for beginners of all ages and abilities
