The terrain consists of typical Poconos rocky trails, with stretches of steep climbs and an elevation gain of 271 feet.\n\n\nWhat to Expect\n \n\nThe 1.1-mile trail to the overlook is fairly level, offering a pleasant approach.\nAt the overlook, enjoy panoramic views of Skytop’s West Mountain, Gravel Pond, and Spruce Mountain.\nThe loop continues down the mountain, passing impressive rock formations before ascending back to the parking area.\n\n \nWhat to Bring\n \n\nSturdy hiking shoes\nHiking poles (optional – we will have some available to borrow)\nDress in layers for changing weather conditions\nWater and snacks\nLeashed dogs are welcome\nNo on-site restrooms\nLeave No Trace – pack out what you bring in\n\nThis event is part of the Get Out!
