On Day 4 we will meet at the Hugh Moore Park main parking lot and take a shuttle bus to the Sand Island, Bethlehem boat launch for put-in. We will shuttle your boat as well if you have one. Be sure to arrive with time for registration as the shuttle leaves promptly at 8:00. This 8.8-mile section is flatwater perfect for beginners and folks who want to get to know their fellow paddlers. We’ll stop at the Route 33 Boat Launch for lunch and enjoy an educational program. From here we will paddle down river until we reach the Hugh Moore Park take-out location.

If you need a boat, be sure to register for a canoe rental. Please note that canoes are two seaters and only 2 members of the same group may share a canoe (exceptions made for families with small children).
